Saints Home Games
I understand the Saints will be practicing and such in San Antonio, Texas for the time being. It is not currently known where home games will be played. Even if repairs to the Super Dome were made on time for the home opener, the city will more than likely not be ready for it.
I hope the Saints will play their home games in this state. Tiger Stadium, Cajun Field, anywhere is fine. I just don't want to have to travel to San Antonio to watch Saints games. This is the first year I have ordered season tickets (I'm only 20 years old.) If the Saints decide to play their home games out of this state, then I don't think I'll be able to make any of the games. I wonder if the organization will give out refunds? I also think its pointless to try to have the Saints play in another state when many fans from Louisiana will not be able to travel. If they thought it was hard selling tickets to Louisiana residents, wait until they try selling them to people of other states who couldn't care less for the New Orleans Saints. Baton Rouge...Lafayette...anywhere local. Please! |

RE: Saints Home Games
This just in:
HOUSTON (AP) - RELIANT PARK COULD BE USED FOR THE NEW ORLEANS SAINTS' HOME OPENER IF THE HURRICANE-DAMAGED LOUISIANA SUPERDOME ISN'T AVAILABLE. STADIUM PRESIDENT AND GENERAL MANAGER SHEA GUINN OFFERED THE STADIUM AS AN OPTION TO THE N-F-L., BUT HASN'T HEARD BACK FROM THE LEAGUE. There is more. That is just a snippet of the story from the Associated Press. Houston is not the journey that San Antonio is, but I would still rather attend a home game in this state. Another thing, will season tickets even be valid at all if the team plays at another stadium? |

Houma is taking refugees at least some. Everyone and there mother is going to try and get the Saints to come play in there place for a year... I don't think they will have a problem finding a place to play. I'd rather them in Baton Rouge but seems like that is what the Gov. wanted. If you aren't in Baton Rouge we don't care attitude of hers. I guess she has to change that for now.
