Taysom is not a NFL QB. He's a gimmick player. Every time we ask him to pass, he looks like a high school QB trying to make his first start. His footwork is terrible, he's inaccurate, he hesitates, ZERO pocket awareness and he can't read the field. Once again on Sunday, he was given a pass and missed a wide open Cook over the middle. Winston is the better QB, though he's very flawed himself. |

Re: Taysom or Jameis?
I just wanna see Taysom try at least a half at QB. Let him try to be a QB. At least try!!!

I think folks got the notion that since Taysom got paid, the Saints are somehow obligated to see if he can fit as a full time QB. Taysom got paid to be Taysom. And he's been doing a fine job of that. The thoughts that somehow he's going to wake up and be an All-Pro QB is just magical thinking to me. We need to win these next 4 games. As long as Winston values the ball and just throws it away when nothing is there, he gives the Saints the best chance of doing that. SFIAH |

But I still want to see him play QB. Has nothing to do with his contract. Or his college play. The kid plays hard. He does everything he asked to and more. He runs like a maniac. He's intense. He's exciting to watch and always looks like he's having as blast. I know it sounds stupid or illogical. But I just feel like he's earned a shot to play. And I'd like to see what the Saints have in him. I want to see him prove people wrong and show he's more than a gadget guy. Follow his dreams. Idk. I'm just getting older. Maybe I just wanna see a guy do well that has worked so hard and earned it. Lol! If it doesn't work out, put the dork in. I know it doesn't make sense. And I can't argue with anyone about it. He's just one of my favorite guys to watch. Every time he's in there I get excited to see what he's gonna do. |

Re: Taysom or Jameis?
Here is what I am hoping for. When Brees was out last year, it seemed the entire team stepped up their game and played that much harder knowing their main guy was out. I hope to see that again now. Teddy was just asked to manage the game and he did. His stats weren't flashy, they were just solid. That is all I am hoping for.
And I think it will be Winston. If Hill was really your #2 QB, he would have started the second half against the 49ers. |

Re: Taysom or Jameis?
If we were 2-6 absolutely but we are in the running for the 1 seed, not a good time for Qb tryouts. Like him or not Winston has been there and done that. He also has a lot of experience against Atlanta which can’t hurt.

Jameis
Even though he didn’t show his mobility And didn’t go through his reads fast enough or get the ball out early enough (Something Drew is a master at) I think he will blossom into The Saints air apparent THe Falcons game will be won between the tackles If Atlanta gets the push on the guards it will be a very long day |

Re: Taysom or Jameis?
Expect the Failclowns to send plenty of pressure at Jameis on Sunday, thats why its so important that he understands this offense and gets the ball out quickly.
They will leave somebody uncovered trying to rattle him. Its up to Winston or not if he makes them pay. |
