Re: Kwon Alexander Torn Achilles
Hey, this is where we Saints fans have to come together and support. Is anyone here really saying the team is better because Kwon got hurt...no.
Is anyone here saying that the remaining defensive player and coaching staff won’t be able to adjust without Kwon...no. Next man up. A healthy D line (we know all the studs) and a healthy backfield (more studs) along with Davis and an offense that put up 52 on Minnesota WITHOUT Michael Thomas is better than the crap the Suckaneers bring any day ! |

As far as I can remember pretty much every defensive player on our team has missed an assignment here or there. Everyone one of them have missed a tackle. Every one of them that had coverage duties has been burned on routes. As a player you HAVE to trust your teammates. It's easy for a fan to lose that trust. Players, however, are not fans. They do not have your thought process. |

Of course, I believe that is rubbish and agree with you, Boston. It's hard for some to be positive. |

Re: Kwon Alexander Torn Achilles
Kwon will be there for the Super Bowl. He will just be on the sidelines cheering.

The fact he was phased out and replaced is enough for us to at least infer that coaches couldn't trust him. |

Please go back and pull the specific plays your referencing where he missed assignments and it’s objectively proven it was on him. Oh wait, you can’t? That’s ok there is a website that does that for you called pro football focus. Guess what, they have people assigned to watch every player on every play and assign a grade for that play... and wouldn’t you know it PFF happen to rank Alex much better than Kwon. But hey, let’s ignore the unbiased opinion of highly respected third party rating team(of which professional scouting team have contracts with) and use our opinions alone instead. Or we can do what CSC did with their sloppy write up on how well Kwon did against potent offenses like SF and Denver...lol |

It's not a reach to state Anzalone played less each game as the season progressed. Not is it a reach to state he was benched. I'm secure in both statements because they're FACT. I don't understand your sarcasm and I really don't care what a stat website says. When's the last time you heard a Head Coach quote PFF stats? I'll wait..... The bottom line is Anzalone was BENCHED for Kwon Alexander because the coaches saw enough. I hope I'm wrong and Anzalone plays lights out. I'm wrong A LOT and I'll be the first one here to say I was wrong. But until he does, I'll be concerned about his lack of playmaking ability in the playoffs. |

Lol Here you go- multiple teams and head coaches talking about using PFF. Also worth noting all 32 pro teams and 80+ College teams use the data for scouting and player insight. Wow, that took all of 30 seconds to find... https://www.pff.com/team-services For the record, I don’t care about Alex and would rather see Baun get a shot. However, so many of you are delusional in thinking Kwon was this amazing player and our D will suck without him.... wake up. |
