Yes, Taysom and Winston would have been skewered for those throws, but IMO thought Drew made some throws that were more reminiscent of his skill, like the one to Sanders down the middle, not sure if it was just a seem route or crappy post, but it was thrown to where only our guy could make the play. And yes, I find myself having breathing issues often times when Brees drops back, but not to the point of requiring supplemental oxygen. My concern is and always been the commitment to the run, which we do very well when we do it. Kamara was on the field for 64% of the offensive plays. Process that for a minute. To me, I’m Good with that, as long as Murray is being utilized as he should be.
I wouldn’t hold him to such a high standard if he has never set the bar there. When he makes those tremendous throws I just nod. That’s what’s he’s supposed to do. He’s Drew Brees. 1st Ballot HOF’er.

We just saw Brady make 5 of them today. I’m not a Pat fan, nor am I a Niner fan. But I lived there when Montana made those plays and I lived here when Brady did too. Drew has the chance to be the GOAT.

I guess it depends on if you like the cheese curds “squeaky” or not. I understand that makes a big difference regionally. Sort of like the diff between KC BBQ and Memphis.

Saw the replay and it was interesting watching DAVENPORT lined up at DT in the 1st quarter & getting abused on run plays.

Dennis Allen needs to place him at DE and leave him there.

Dennis Allen just try’s to be too cerebral ... I thought we did a poor job of setting the edge and maintaining gap control. The phrase I hear a lot of lately is “Eye Control” ... we did not have good eye control yesterday, Jenkins seemed lost in coverage and helping set the edge on his side.

Run defense sucked
Pass defense - Anzalone/Alexander LB play - sucked

Although without turnovers it would have been a blowout

It's another W in the win column. That's my biggest takeaway from the game.
