Since we know the Saints will be hosting a playoff game at some point this post season, what will you be serving for the game? I‘be done gumbo enough, so maybe I’ll do red beans and rice. I’m open to thoughts/suggestions from B&G folk.

Re: I know it’s early, but...
I have cooked every meal through 32 years of marriage. I grew up cooking. But, on game days when I try to do something special it becomes a distraction.
But, I may pick up some oysters and go with a couple dozen each of raw and grilled. I've got some gator that I could blacken with a cream based pasta or deep fry as snacks with remoulade. |

I feel you Guido. You don’t want to have the meal take away from the game. I guess that’s one benefit of being on east coast time. Games don’t start here until 1:00 earliest.

Re: I know it’s early, but...
Begin the pre game with an hors d’ oeuvres of some Clamato juice and Budweiser 3 maybe 4, follow with the second course of either Johnny W or Pendleton on ice (depending game status).....could be either order actually. Then throw in probably some chips/salsa, hot wings. More into liquor than food around this time of year. I’m not real pleasant to be around during games, call it nervous energy, whatever, I have a big dislike for distractions during games.
