Granted it wasn't an outright great day from Brees, but there were once again a bunch of plays where he had diagnosed the defense pre-snap and exploited it, something that Taysom is unable to do. There's one player I have utmost trust in when the ball is headed his way and I'd never even heard of the guy at the start of the year - Marquez Callaway. He's everything Trequan should have been, big bodied receiver, catches with his hands and not his body, can block in the running game and does it well. Just a complete player and looking like an absolute steal. |
