Watching Hurts and the Eagles play

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; It’s hard for me not to get upset watching another team handle them like this. Saints just came in unprepared in every facet of the game and got ran over. Really ugly performance that could easily cost first round bye. ...

Watching Hurts and the Eagles play

Really ugly performance that could easily cost first round bye. At the time it didn’t bug me as much. It does now. Super Bowl teams shouldn’t do stuff like that.

Kind of like we lost to the Cowboys back in 2009, huh? Oh, wait!

Dallas was 9-5 at the time and had Tony Romo playing. Eagles had 3 wins and were playing a Rookie QB...so, not like that at all.

So I guess that mean you think we're going to lose, huh?

Well, we're not going to lose another game this season and will absolutely win our second Lombardi.

Re: Watching Hurts and the Eagles play

I sure hope you are right and, no I didn’t make predictions about winning. My point was I feel the loss was uglier now after time to reflect and see how Philly has done since the QB change. It’s a game that should not have been lost by the Saints and I feel more so now than I did after the game. The KC game didn’t bug me then and it doesn’t now. The Philly game did then and it does more now. Simple as that.

You need you relax and not let things bug you. Every game is a different game. What is past is past. Move on. All things that some others I know around here need to keep in mind.

The Saints better let it bug them and be better prepared for the playoffs than they were for the eagles.

They know what they're doing. They have been dealing with a major rash of injuries. Pieces should be coming together just like it did in 2009.

Ah we got owned by a rookie QB in philly I don’t recall many missing pieces for that game AG defense that is, we were ranked top 2 D man but not worried. We weren’t pristine for the vikes game either. Not worried at all though .

We were missing MAJOR pieces on offense, however.

All is good. Our stretch run to the final goal is underway.
