Josh Allen is a solid QB, can make difficult throws on the run and has weapons.

That’s what I’ve been saying. Every year it’s the same rhetoric, “defenses are ahead of offenses. Didn’t seem the case the past few years.

I think there are a few reasons for this. There has been a trend to go toward more of a complex read and react defense in recent years. This concept is still fairly new and hard to master without lots of practice with your teammates. Another factor has been the ever evolving defensive interpretations of the rules making the defensive player's job's harder to master at the most basic level. Another factor has been the advance in offensive play design and calling. The concept of just doing what you do best right of the bat instead of trying to involve your whole playbook earlier on makes the job tougher on the defense.

Or maybe Bortles ?? Either Aaron Rodgers will hold out, possibly gone or Jordan Love isn't progressing as quickly as they may have liked.

That describes this teams slow start with DA at the helm of the defense. I just wish he could make his half time adjustments sooner.

Not according to an article I just read. I've been reading that upon further reflection that it ain't lookin' so bad right now for the Saints. Personally, I don't like the schedule one bit. I know that makes Roger Godhell happy.

I saw a special on the making of the schedule. It's all done with a bank of computers working through different iterations and graded based upon rule based criteria. Roger Goodell has zero input on the generation of the final schedule. He is presented with what the five person tech team determine is the best version and he simply gives his final approval.

Damn Tampa. Damn them to hell. We kicked their butt with an aging QB and I hope that Winston is at least that good his first year with us. If not we'll be drafting higher and looking for our future franchise QB to replace Drew. It's a win/win.

We should all get together and tailgate for one game where everyone can make it. Any takers? I'm in and so is my twin brother. I was thinking the last preseason game if it's in the Dome or an easy team to beat early on in the season if we can all get tickets.

I'll organize it and stay on top of anything that we will need. Is anyone else going to training camp. I'll be there at least for one practice if they allow spectators. I've had my shots. This might deserve it's own thread if several people want to get together.

Sorry, but I believe you are mistaken. In 2017 week 14 was a Thursday night game in Atlanta, December 7th. We lost 20-17. We hosted Atlanta two weeks later on Christmas Eve at 1:00 week 16 and won 23-13.
