Going into the playoffs without Kamara is suboptimal to be sure. But I think that throwing oneself off the building like it's the stock market crash may be a bit premature.

Is this like Marvel's What If? In what universe would the Bears have the No. 2 seed even if they beat the Pack and end up at 9-7?

The #2 seed will play one of the Bears, Cardinals, or Rams. That's what I meant. It would be a better matchup for the Saints if get secure the #2 seed.

What If Spider-Man had Joined the Fantastic Four?

So Taysom should get several running plays called for him tomorrow as long as he wasn't placed in the Covid 19 protocol with the other RBs?

Re: What if?

To sort through it all, if there is a first round game for the Saints, I would prefer the matchup against Arz the most.

Bears or Rams for me, I don't think we match up well with Zona's offense. I think Murray would have a better running day than Hurts did against us.

Rams are going into the playoffs injured at key positions and Goff is a turnover machine currently.

Re: What if?

We’ve won games all year missing at least two or more major contributors. Missing Kamara for a game or two isn’t the end of the world especially since we will get Thomas and some others back for game one.
I just hope Payton doesn’t forget what it’s like having a running game after a week of being forced to play without one. Looked like he figured out how to commit to the run for a minute there.

Lol.

Next Saturday it gets real. There is no tomorrow if you lose next weekend. Kamara out there is huge even as a diversion. Teams have to account for him. Potentially not having AK next week (if it's a Sat game) would be a big deal.

Playoffs are a beast.

I'm waiting to see if the NFL screws us with the playoff scheduling.

You know that Roger is laughing in his office trying to figure out the best scenario to screw over Sean Payton and the Saints.

Re: What if?

Saints got the #2 spot and will play the Bears instead of the Rams, so Goodell has to make some moves now. I expect Brian Urlacher or Mike Singletary will be the head referee for that game.
