All Saints RB’s Out Sunday

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Undrafted RB Tony Jones Jr could be promoted to the active roster on tomorrow as well. Not sure how good he is with pass protection though....

Just hope he got some extra drills on protecting the ball 😄. Going to be fun to see what SP comes up with during this game.

DJ Swearinger reportedly positive too.

Here comes the "No DB's allowed to play this week either" news.

No CJGJ or Swearinger this week.

Treat Winston as the number 2 and use Taysom in the running game. If Brees goes down we are screwed anyway. Neither backup will get us very far in the playoffs so we might as well use Taysom even if it’s an injury risk.

Dammit man. All I wanted for this year's playoff was a healthy squad...

Hasn't it been stated Kamara's first available day would be Sunday the 9th?

Second point - we won't face a playoff run defense near as bad as Minnesota's.

I'm not worried about this weekend. I'm concerned this thing spreads beyond the RBs...

On a brighter note at least it’s a bye for the RB’s

I wish the Green Bay game was at noon so we would know whether this game actually matters.

Re: All Saints RB’s Out Sunday

NFL would be wise to push the playoffs by a few weeks... going to be a lot more cases coming up over the next few days. Players went out and partied and spent time with large families just like most normal people.

Under normal circumstances these players would play sick like the have in all other years... but I guess a 99.99% survival rate for their age group is too risky.

If one or 2 more big name players get the cold the NFL may consider postponing the post season.
