Know it's rare in this day and age, but if Truth is more important than winning, you'll see the plays if you take your time and watch it objectively... Payton has no fear to pass, pass, and pass - smarter, better defensive teams have figured this out and scheme accordingly... At this stage of Brees' career, and given the investment and talent on the offensive line and running back, as well as WR; it'd make more sense to run a play-action pass offense... I'd also include roll-outs for Brees' happy feet and justified distrust in the center of his oft-injured line; he's just got to get that ball downfield to Sanders, Trautman et al - hitting the receiver(s) in stride... |

In the pocket and planted seems to be his sweet spot. When he gets mobile his eyes get real bright like that kid in the yearbook that used to bite everyone. (crazy eyes) ![]() |
