Saints Sweep NFC South
Yes! First time ever. The Saints are the first team to sweep the NFC South. The Saints are also the first NFC South franchise to win the division title four straight years.
Let's all get on board to run off our Hall of Fame QB and demean every move our head coach and front office makes! Woohoo! Can't wait to move off this streak of success, huh? |

Yeah and I want to remind everyone that the entire world had crowned the Yuccaneers as division champs and Super Bowl winners before the season even started. Saints took care of business this year despite all the obstacles. Credit to SP for a job well done.

It's nice caveat to hang our hat, but considering the roster, Saints did what they were favored to do...
But I'm not here for the door prize this year, it's all BS if we don't win the tournament... |

The loss to KC being a prime example. The Chiefs run defense was ranked around 26th when we played and I believe AK was averaging around 5+ yards a carry in that game and it was Brees' first game back from a significant injury. SP should have run the brakes off of KC. It would have kept Mahomes on the sidelines and IMO dramatically increased the Saints chances of winning. |

Kansas City's game plan was to sell out completely on the run and force Brees to throw the ball in his first game back. Normally Brees would make a team pay bigtime for using that strategy, but if you remember he was clearly off early and didn't get into a rhythm until the second half. You know the old saying, "dance with the one that brung ya'"? Going pass or run based upon the defensive alignment is what has made Payton/Brees' offenses the best in the NFL over the last decade and a half. Running the ball when the box is stacked over and over again will do nothing but produce 3 and outs. |
