this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I like our roster this year too. O line is potentially top 5. Interior D line is sneaky good (more depth than you think) and boy do we have a lot to throw at a QB from the edges! Pass ...

O line is potentially top 5. Interior D line is sneaky good (more depth than you think) and boy do we have a lot to throw at a QB from the edges! Pass catchers - Callaway is underrated. Deonte another matchup nightmare. Then you factor in Kamara, Hill and Trautman... I'm a believer. Secondary seems patchwork. Not as confident here. Camp will show a lot but it feels like there's still another domino to fall. Special Teams shouldn't be a concern. QB.... prove them all wrong Jameis. I will laugh with you! |

Callaway hasn't shown he can stay healthy; Tre'Quan is in the last year of his rookie contract, and still looks like a rookie; Deonte is special, but limited by his height... Until we see what Baker is all about, have no confidence in this WR group as it is; Trautman was an unnecessarily expensive, but solid pick and should do well... IF there's any truth to bringing back Brandin Cooks, who's on an affordable contract and knows he's an elite WRz, not a WRx (as Harris isn't), Sean needs to get it done... |

Don't sleep on Chris Hogan ...
Could be a chain mover in this offense. Was watching some of his film, has good hands, runs solid routes and has the ability to make the tough catch in traffic. Let's evaluate @ training camp. Maybe he sticks. |

Major's right; that great season Hogan had with the Patriots, Belichick moved Hogan all over (WRx, WRz, WRs) to counter injured players; tremendous get for Sean...

I'm all in on this one! As you said, it can address multiple concerns at WR, JP! |

Keep in mind our O line can be elite. If that hold true, someone will be open every play. Pass on Cooks. Big on Trautman (expensive....whut?) |

Re: 2021 NFL Free Agency: New Orleans Saints
They traded the seventh rounder (244th overall) from Cleveland, along with their own fourth- (130), fifth- (169) and sixth-round (203) picks for pick number 105 in the third round. Seems like a good deal to me to get what is now a starting TE. There's no guarantee that any of the traded picks would have fielded a starting player.
