Re: 2021 NFL Free Agency: New Orleans Saints
Does anyone really feel like we'll make a trade before the deadline? We have an awful lot of expensive contracts from this year and more to come. We have a bunch of UDFA's that are turning out to be good enough for back up players. Our backups have been getting a lot of reps though with so many players out with injuries. But I can see us bringing in a good role player if he fits the system who could step up if needed. Maybe a tight end. I don't see us making a big trade for a player when we need the picks next year. We already spent a third rounder for a backup corner.

I know I'm beating a dead horse, but adding (via draft) another WR should have been a priority 2 seasons ago. Winston simply doesn't have many options right now. Where the hell is that Meat Guy? I need answers ![]() |

Callaway, Stills, and that's about it. At this point, I don't think we should expect much from White at WR ![]() |

Thomas will out-physical his defender(s) and will move the chains on 3rd downs and win in the red-zone... |

But yeah, Cooks would help. We gotta do something. Saints WR core is about as bad as I've ever seen under Sean Payton. Meanwhile, the trade deadline is rapidly approaching. |
