Surely won't hurt to make a quick phone call to the folks down in Miami .

This was an interesting take from that article :

"And that’s the ideal situation for New Orleans. If they could bring Howard in for 2021 and tweak his contract to his liking, they would have the consistent No. 1 cornerback they need for the future with Adebo as a backup plan to replace Lattimore in 2022, should he continue to run hot-and-cold in a contract year."


^^ Sorry but I'm not ready for Lattimore to leave. When you find above avg corners, you pay them because they aren't easy to find.

As a SmashMouth kinda-guy, it took me a few seasons to accept the real premium on defense is on island-cover-corners...

Totally agree, if you get those that can cover, disrupt, you pay them...

So why didn’t they keep Janoris Jenkins and let Marcus Williams go?

Well Marcus has an elite grade in coverage as a Safety and he's younger, so that's why I'd kept him over Jackrabbit, as much as I liked that Jenkins...
