Jason David Played Better
There, I said it. I watched the game and he played much better. Probably his best game all year. He did not get beat deep all day. Sure he had that PI penalty, but at least he was there trying to make a play on the ball. If he can build on this performance and continue to improve, this season will start to look up a little bit.

But... Did you notice they were going deep on us to the side where Bullocks was especially everytime we showed Zone??? In fact each time I caught the Saints in zone early in the game it was a long pass to Bullocks side. |

Re: Jason David Played Better
I agree, he did play better, I hope he continues to do so.
Mare kicked another long FG, a 52 yarder right up the middle. I saw improvement in all area's of with the team. |

That play though where he drew the penalty was more of his arm touching the player as he extended it to shield the palyer from the ball and it touched the player as he looked back for the ball. I didn't agree with the call because there was another where there was more contact. Whats getting out of hand is that WR's are getting away with murder, being allowed to get away with a lot more contact than the defender on passing plays. I saw that on a lot of games this weekend. |

Re: Jason David Played Better
Unless I'm totally wrong, on the penalty call, David never looked back for the ball. That's what did it.

Re: Jason David Played Better
If you look back for the ball you could say that you were going for the ball, but if you don't get your head around you don't even have that to fall back on. David never looked back.

I think all of the secondary did great. They got three ints in the game.
