The answer : Colston , From Hofstra. We find gems where others dont look.
I dont like the pick but am working hard to convince myself. We do need corners probably the biggest need area on our team.
I was the same way with Colston, but the major difference there is that he was a 7th round pick. Most people wouldn't know who he was. Robinson is different, because he is a first rounder. I don't know. Maybe it's just me, but I guess I'm just confused because the guy wasn't really a name that you heard much about. The front office still has my trust, however, and I accept anything they decide to do.

Re: Patrick Robinson

I would have thought that we would take a linebacker first.

Draft Capsule: Patrick Robinson - ESPN Video - ESPN

Classified as Boom or Bust in this video. I think Gregg Williams can "motivate" him properly. LOL.

Agreed. If anyone can keep him focused, GW can.

Actually i may be wrong but I dont see us as deep at corner... when Greer and Porter went down we struggled had to bring in people off the street to stay competitive...ie mckenzie and mcCallister. We are deep as all get out at Saftey,,, Harper Sharper, Jenkins, Young,

I think he is talking about being deep now. Last year, when Greer and Porter were out, so was Leigh Torrance. That pretty much left Gay and Jenkins as the only two corners, so signing guys at the position off the street had to be done. With the addition of Robinson, this gives the Saints a little more leverage in case the injury bug bites again this season, God forbid.
