Saints looking for DL help, Brings in Muhammad Wilkerson.

Temple DL Muhammad Wilkerson visited with the Saints last week, according to the NFL Network. This shouldn't be a major surprise as the Saints could use DL help. Wilkerson has been slated to go to the Saints in the first round (No. 24 overall) in numerous mock drafts.

Seems the Saints didn't let the CBA crap get in their way, they are surging forward with private workouts and prospects for their draft picks.

Me too. Kid has rare size/speed combo.

i like what there saying about him, more ups than downs. but the MAC conference isn't the SEC. needs more bulk 4.97 in the 40 won't get to many qbs but a hole plugger he is. some mocks have him in the second round. but its mocks and not a payton/loomis quess. i'd trust them if he was choosen. corey luiget more like it if he were still there at 24.

But Wilkerson was faster than Luiget in the 40 and in the 3-cone, and he's bigger.

true danno, and wilkerson was said to have a bad day at the comine. this is my early christmas if this happens. cameron jordan , can play de/dt speed rusher, stop gap tackle whatever we choose. projected to go to new england but could be traded a few picks further down. we have a decent trade game with bilichick. i'm just dreamin we would have to give up a pick somewhere and i don;t think we could afford to.

I've never seen an interview with Wilkerson but I read somewhere that he's a pretty sharp guy.
