True. If this was the only year it happened, then we can blame the lockout.

I think we've finished near the top of the league in players landing on IR, or missing multiple games, for several years now.

Does the league (or some other party) hold statistics on man-hours lost due to injuries?

I know NHL for example does, and if NFL does it would be interesting to see how high the Saints rank in that list in the span of say last 4 years.

That's what I said - booty traps...

I never really understood why people blame strength and conditioning coaches or trainers for injuries. People get hurt, it's a tough game. Just because we have injuries doesn't mean it's anybody's fault.

The fact that this is little info is starting to worry me some, we all saw Deuce walk twice after tearing this acl so let's hope that this isn't serious with Nicks, last thing I want to see is Drew having to run for his life every play

They do too much stretching and weights if you ask me. Your muscles and ligaments can only be stretch so much and then they are going to give. We've all twisted a straw when we were kids and then just plucked it with our finger and it popped. I'm no doctor but to me they are over doing it. There's no reason when they excercise to have their legs bent behind them, that's not a natural poistion. When players were less sculptured and muscle bound there were fewer injuries or so it seems.

Nothing was mentioned after practice at all. I'll freak out if Coach P puts him on the injury list or makes an announcement.
