Although the Saints will never admit it,

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; they lost this game because they over-looked the Rams. I am not sure what they were looking past them at; if it was the Bucs because of that loss, then we need to beat them by at least 21 points. ...

Although the Saints will never admit it,

they lost this game because they over-looked the Rams.

I am not sure what they were looking past them at; if it was the Bucs because of that loss, then we need to beat them by at least 21 points.

Maybe they thought beating a winless NFC team was going to be as easy as beating a winless AFC team.

If, and it is a very real possibility, the Saints get swept by the Bucs next week, I for one am going to push the panic button.

I could swallow the losses to the Packers and Bucs; but this one is going to burn for awhile.

We will have to put it on the mantle next to other notable Saints accomplishments, like the first team to lose a playoff game to a team with a losing record.

I hope a reporter somewhere asks Payton why we didn't run the ball more.

"A Veteran is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America" for an amount of "up to and including my life."

Are you serious? Run the ball more? We should have stopped trying to run in the last half.... That gobbled up clock.

The Rams basically gave up the run in the 2nd half. It's the only play we had. Too bad it was too late.

Fair enough..... Drew did have an off day.... Last week there were aerial catches by both Graham and Coleston.... This week he was hitting defenders near their numbers.

Well, that's what happens when you're;

A. Running for your life

or

B. Trying to complete a pass with a 265lb man child clinging to your neck

I think the Rams had ( key word had) nothing to lose attitude, tried something different our O-line didn't see and we got manhandled. I hope they feel bad for losing yesterday to the point of embarassed but most of all get the problem fixed if not boys and girls bet ya we will be seeing a lot of defenses running the same way against us. I sure Drew got a real good look at it as he was running for his life.

It's nothing different.

Houston, jacksonville and Tampa all did the same thing.

So either the Rams don't have either the worst rushing defense in the league, our RBs aren't worth a damn or our O-line isn't worth a damn.

Which is it?

It sounds weird to say it, but it didn't help us that Bradford didn't play. It just made us that much more likely not to take them seriously.

And how much film did we really have on Feeley? I hate it when you play a team with a QB who hasn't been the starter. They usually have some success, like Aaron Brooks did initially. Cuz there was virtually NO film on him playing with the team!!!
