I hope Payton or Loomis files a complaint with the league over all the bad calls in this game.
If the Giants hadn't been crippled by injuries, those calls could have cost the Saints the game. The Saints had their share of dumb plays that were, (and should have been), flagged: The late hit on the incomplete pass in the endzone; The tackle? out of bounds. I personally think the Giants player fell down to get the penalty, if the Saints players hadnt' been on him on the sideline, the refs couldn't have called it. And don't get me started on the personal fouls that were called!!! |

What gets me is the taunting call on Roby. Did anyone see what he did? And if what he did was taunting what about Jacobs jawing and pointing at the Saints defense after he scored his TD. If that isn't taunting I don't know what is.

We should be preaching ABSTINENCE. Abstain from late hits out-of-bounds. Abstain from taunting, PERIOD. We are good enough. We don't have to talk it up.
