Question

I was too disgusted to read much on here yesterday and have a couple of questions
Who is going to replace Henderson? I know we brought AA in but I def do not think he is the answer. Any word on weather or not we are looking at someone on the outside? I would like to see someones predictions on how our
WR lineup will look like going into the Carolina game.

Who will replace Patrick?

Anyhow a few positive words

The 07 Giants started 0-2 under Spags 1st year as DC. Then went on to win the SB.

We drop a goose egg every year to an inferior team and the loss looks EXACTLY like the one we saw Sunday. Lots of penalties, lots of dropped balls and missed opportunities, sluggish offense, failure to protect Drew. This game reminded me a lot of the Rams game last year. Lets just hope this was our mulligan.

Next weeks game against Carolina will speak volumes about the resilience and integrity of our team. A cohesive team with strong fundamentals and determination will rebound from a loss like this one and come on even stronger than ever. A weak team will simply give up and let the losses pile on. I hope our guys have bought into the system Payton built and do not let this one defeat get them down. I don't think Drew will stand for anyone half assign it out there and using our offseason woes as an excuse.

Remember, all we have to do is make it to the playoffs, after that we can make history.

PS I hate the 49ers almost as much as the Falcons. Looks like they are going to be the team to beat this year.

I cannot handle a loss this Sunday. I will destroy everything within my reach if we lose. I have already ordered a new remote

Re: Question

Speaking for myself, I know we always have a game like the Skins. It was just such a kick in the sack to happen on opening day after the offseason we have had. I am still optimistic but this taste is funky and a Pantie beat down will make me feel a lot better.

AA replaces Dev and burns it up next weekend.

Re: Question

I doubt AA is ready to replace anyone. Besides, we need more WR's, not less

We missed Greer sorely.

I imagine things will right themselves without the need for comparisons to Spag's old teams.

Re: Question

Morgan replaces Devery (yikes, but he's faster than AA)

Greer replaces Patrick (whew)

WR for Carolina = Colston, Moore, Morgan, Arrington, Camarillo

and this is exactly how we started last year, 0-1, losing a game that we felt like we could've won. Not time to worry...yet

Re: Question

1. We have always seemed to miss Greer when he isn't in the lineup.
2. I agree w/ Dude, this week will say a lot about our team, and I too hope not to destroy everything w/in reach should we lay another egg.
3. When was the last time Brees followed up a stinker w/ anything but a solid performance?
4. Kromer scares me as a HC. I feel very uncomfortable hearing him talk to the media. He just doesn't seem comfortable in his own skin, but I have to trust Loomis and Co on this move.
