Seriously might be my last season as a fan
 

The refs and the entire direction of the game is boring. Tell me when a receiver goes across the middle and gets lit up you aren't surprised when a flag isn't thrown. I just can't watch anymore. It is boring. Last year in the playoffs the BS call on Bush against Seattle just because he laid someone out. The game is becoming boring. You watch and the penalties make you feel like the **** is scripted. Not all the time, but many times. I seriously don't think I want to watch it. Not that you guys give a ****, lol, but I just have to voice this frustration somewhere. Used to be my favorite time of the year. Id' read everything in the off-season. I barely pay attention now. Game has turned to **** and it is just going to get worse

I understand your frustration.

I just dislike the subjectivity behind the calls and think officials should be fined by the league for making blatantly bad calls. I also fully support the implantation of a replay system for all penalties. They need to be held accountable for the mistakes they make just like the players are.

I have to agree it is fixed. I think we need a change. We're becoming nostalgic. Payton cannot adapt. Yeah we can talk about penalties but we can also talk about the way Brees has played. We're stuck with it until Brees has the luck on his shoulders again. Brees will not accept number 4 in this era and I think he is bothered by it. He just needs to accept it so the team can play better.

Right there with you my friend. Been a fan since I went to the dome for my first time back in the Herbert/Dome Patrol years. I think I was around 12 at that time. I just turned 40 a few months ago. I'm glad we have at least seen what will probably be our only Super Bowl win.

But this is just ridiculous. I feel like Goodell has a command center where he sits on Sundays with 32 red phones lined up in front of him.
Then at will, he picks up the phone at any given moment and says, "Change the game."

I don't truly think that but damn is this not frustrating to watch unfold.

This use to be my favorite time of the year as well. Now I hate it!!!!!!
I hope we are never picked to win another super bowl as long as I live. Of course I want us to win another one just not picked.

I know how ya'll feel. It's not half as exciting as it used to be. That doesn't really have all that much to do with the Saints being good or bad, the game just doesn't have the flow anymore and the referees are front and center every game. It's just not as entertaining. I could literally fall asleep during most games anymore.

Officiating has gotten a lot worse this year. There is a lot of 'home cooking' going on throughout the league. That 49ers/Chiefs game the other week was a total fix.
