So I have to be realistic

As much as I want us to get in because it's hard to have to deal with watching Carolina and Atlanta in the playoffs, I don't think we pull off winning out in the division. I'm going to keep an open mind and not say we will or won't. I still believe we should win today.

Re: So I have to be realistic

Sorry to be negative but after that performance I really don't see where our next win will be coming from this season!

I really hope I'm proved wrong and the Saints win a few more games, but I just don't see it happening!

Still a Saints fan though!!!!!!

Need a new owner that is mentally capable to fire this incompetent staff.
Saints are going to be in a tough spot for many years, it's going to be tough to watch.

Re: So I have to be realistic

We've now reached the point where any wins we happen to get the rest of the way just hurt us. I'm not saying give up (though that was a pretty good job of basically giving up in the second half, today) or that I will pull for the Saints to lose. I can't stomach that. But winning doesn't really matter. Of course after today, who says we'll be doing any of that, right?

Pathetic.

Re: So I have to be realistic

Until Sean Payton stops allowing his "Yes Men" to infest his coaching staff, we won't develop talent. And until Payton gives the OC complete control over the offense along with the playcalling duties so Payton can manage this trainwreck of a 4-6 team that he now has on his hands, we will have a dumpster fire on our hands by Week 17. He allowed Brees to dictate a 4th down call from the field in the 4th Quarter. Yes, it's Drew and all, but the other players saw that. It undermines the top man. That means a whole bunch when it hits the fan.

Until he does his Head Coaching job and gets in the grill of this sorry good-for-nothing staff instead of tinkering with his precious #1 offense which can't score points, maybe we'd make some headway with the entire team's progress.

How's that for realistic?

What a mess. Sad. Of course, we will win some more games though. Come on. Troubling about Lewis though. That guy isn't healthy.

Re: So I have to be realistic

We will at least win three more games. But I think people are underestimating us against Carolina week 13. We didn't roll over for Atlanta. And then there's TB week 14. I just honestly don't see how our defense will be so bad against these teams. I mean, Cam could go off but we did get turnovers against TB week 2. Houston has no runningback though. Blue has to have 30 carries to even get 100 yards.

I think our best chances of losing are Carolina, @TB, and Jacksonville.

Re: So I have to be realistic

I mean, we just lost to a 3-5 team by 33 points. What more does anyone need to see? Are a couple more wins possible? Losing to the Redskins by 33 points... Sure anything is possible. There are always those fluky performances for bad teams, so we'll win a game or two. Not enough to matter, and just enough to bump you down in the draft order.
