... are undefeated. Or so I heard on the radio this morning. Performing due diligence prior to posting, I found it's actually a combined record of 15-1, but I did uncover some amusing facts:
- Seattle has gone 7-1, losing only to Miami since legalization. Come on, is there any bigger of a buzzkill than having to travel the width of the country, in a pressurized cabin, and than have to play a game in the Florida heat? They get a pass on that one. They are an impressive 4-0 at home.
- The Seahawks have outscored their opponents something like 266-105 since the law passed, including dropping 50-burgers in two consecutive weeks on Arizona (58-0) and Buffalo (50-17).
- Denver is 8-0 since Colorado legalized marijuana, outscoring their opponents 246-114.
- Peyton Manning threw TD pass #420 the first game following the legislation, to Brandon 'Stokley' vs Carolina.
- Stats concerning increased sales of Papa John's pizza in either state were not available at the time this blog went to print.
