Small world indeed, '76, and SF. I worked for the company that did your cable to Leesville and Fort Polk in the early 80s. It might not have been your original provider, and I apologize for the crappy service. I did not work directly in the cable side, but for the radio station under the same owner. I worked in Many, and lived just across the Lake on the Texas side.
I had no idea. |

Re: Braves Fans Speak Up!
My name is Tyler, my Mom moved us from Leesville in 86 as a youngster. But my cousins are the Kuhlows (Suzette, Kyle and Kurt). We lived across the street from the Massies (David and Gary-Paul). My Mom's brother is Kevin Magee.

Re: Braves Fans Speak Up!
You know, I love this site, and everybody here. even the kooky ones. I've never seen anything on the internet like it. We have "Tylers," with aunts and uncles from Leesville, avatars of ourselves in speedos, avatars of our cute selves (breesf27, and my wife, when she posts), and avatars of our fat asses (me).
We are old guys with 1,000 stories, and young guys full O' pee pee & vinegar who attempt to score with each other's neices at the Super Bowl party. (name withheld, but you're a big horndawg...) Then you have Strato who is either posting drunk, or has one of FF's cats running across his keyboard. You know, just regular, real people--- Saints fans, many of whom, I've either met or had a beer or 10 with. My old site offers "pawnage" and cute ways to say "fail," from D&D characters, and mythical sun gods who "eat your soul." I did two posts here friday, which would have triggered WW III over there. Not that I would object to reasonable dissent. I know, without even looking, (dont you go look-- dont give them the hits) that they're having a civil war over the Gulf Oil Spill. I havent looked, but I know. Anyway, yall are real. And, though our site lacks Jerry Springer/Geraldo Rivera appeal, it's exactly what I like. Everybody remember that we're rooting for the same team, and you know what else? ... ...training camp is a little over two months away.... see you soon. |

If they were any good i have no doubt you'd see Zepher stickers and T-shirts all over the place but eh.. I think New Orleans should court a MLB team, i thought at one point it was doing that with Montreal but i don't know what happened with that. |

Re: Braves Fans Speak Up!
ha! actually it was the Super Bowl, and I dont remember it being taken, but I believe it was after the Porter interception, while everyone else was celebrating. As you see, my face does not say, "We have it wrapped up," because I have suffered through 28 years of bizarre ways to lose and being on the losing end of "miracles." The celebration came minutes later.
