How do you like 'em dressed?
I prefer tarter, shredded lettuce, tomato, onion, Tabasco with a side of cocktail sauce for dipping. Yeah, I know its plain Jane but I'm kinda new to the poboy thing. I was always a shrimp dinner guy. I never really got the whole poboy thing until a year or two ago. |

You know what I do? I just order it "dressed" and eat it however they hand it to me! Each place has their own style. Maybe I'll put some Crystal on it.
My favorite is when the oysters are very hot and the lettuce is shredded fine and really cold, and the mayo in there acts like a sort of glue to hold things together. The other good one is when the mayo and gravy on a roast beef combine to make "something else" that's like a light brown watery goop. |
