Thanks for the post. Interesting stuff.
In my youth I spent considerable time camping in the north Arizona deserts on research projects. I walked many a mile along these dry stream beds and saw the remnants of these flash floods. I never thought much about it, other than not wanting to crawl around them too much because of rattle snakes. So, when I saw your videos my first though was that the front wave of flotsam was likely carrying a number of "passengers". |
