In other hockey news, Russia defeated Slovakia 6-2 in the gold medal game ... the Czech Republic scored three goals in the first period and held on to down Finland 3-2 ... Russia's NHL big-guns came alive with Syomin (WAS) 1G/1A, Datsyuk (DET) 1G/2A, Malkin (PIT) 1G & Ovechkin (WAS) 2A, Alexander Perezhogin and Alexei Tereshenko scored the other two goals ... they're calling it the strongest outing by a Russian team since the fall of the Soviet Union ... the Russians are back on top of the hockey world, <sigh>, better luck next year, USA ... never too early to start thinking about 'miracles' ...

Ya, when we were building the half sheet last year, one of the chillers was shut off, twice (I think). Same with the full sheet. Someone didn't necessarily hack the server, but that was the speculation between me and a couple of other workers. We had to place the chillers on manual override.

I'm headed to Russia for vaca on Friday. My guess is they won't be turning over cop cars or rioting over an event like this. The head of the Russian mafia's team winning the Champion's League (Chelsea) is probably a bigger deal.
