Re: NFL Has SERIOUS Problem as GREED is Destroying the League
I don't disagree that he's raking in the money, but my thought is it is unsustainable.
I used to buy NFL merch all the time, have Sunday Ticket every year, and even attend games in the Dome periodically. No more. The NFL has not see one thin dime out of my pockets since about 2018 and I don't think I am alone. The Taylor Swift fan base if fickle and will not always be there for the NFL. The game is a shell of what I grew up watching. Maybe I lay too much of the blame on Goodell and not enough on the owners, but this game has been wussified and whored out to the $. Folks should give the NHL a try. I never was much in to it because I did not understand the rules and the strategy. Once I watched enough to know that, it is an awesome game. And almost all of the players are just down to earth blue collar guys. Not the prima donas of the NFL or the thugs of the NBA. |

As for hockey, I have tried watch TV and am bored stiff. The only way to watch is in person. Completely different experience. I believe it loses so much in translation to TV that to me it is unwatchable. Football is actually enhanced by TV. I personally am not motivated by perceived personality traits between the leagues as a whole. There are, I understand, prima donnas in the NHL, and down to earth blue collar players in the NFL. A lot of them. Don't care for the NBA at all, however. |
