No, no one really watches the Pro Bowl. It is not a ratings thing. No,the players do not really play football. They play tag and touch football. No one is going to risk getting injured in ProBowl. He is talking about eliminating this. Bad idea. I do not think teams, player's , etc. will go for that. They get to use Pro Bowl rankings, an honor, in their contract negoiations. It is a time for players to socialize, relax, network, catch up with college team mates, etc. It is a big thing to get in the Pro Bowl and for those who are on teams that do not make it the Playoffs, or SB, this is like an individual reward. Goodell, Goodell
