Re: Steven Jackson to the Falcons
Good running back with his best years behind him.
Also getting very injury prone. I bet he plays 1 year and TBH we face him only once. No worried Rob Ryan will have us beast when the time comes. We will exact revenge on every team we face like the red headed stepchildren they are |

Has Grimes re-signed yet with them? I heard last he was meeting with dolphins.

Re: Steven Jackson to the Falcons
If this was the Steven Jackson of 5 years back, I would be concerned.

All in St. Louis, which says a lot about the guy's dedication. Put him on a team where they have to account for a couple decent WR's and a veteran TE, that's a winning combination.
He almost retired this past season, here's hoping he hangs around with Tony Gonzalez & they both get 'short-timers' attitude. If I were a fantasy player, Jackson would be my RB pick for next year. . |

Re: Steven Jackson to the Falcons
Aging and injury prone, he's still a big upgrade from Turner.
Of course, my old drunk uncle Sam is an upgrade from Turner. Turner sucks. Wish they would've signed him to a long term deal instead. I am going to miss being able to count on him not to gain a yard on first down. Or second. Or third. |

Re: Steven Jackson to the Falcons
I'm certainly not dismissive of an angry runner becoming yet another cog of an already serious O. Especially while my squad still sports such a pedestrian at best D. Jackson hasn't missed 4 games in a season since 08, and he won't be the focal point of the birds offensive plan as he was with the Rams. He'll be a punisher like Lynch. Fresh and inspired. Bad news

Re: Steven Jackson to the Falcons
I don't look forward to seeing him twice a year, don't care how old he is.
