this is a discussion within the NFL Community Forum; Ed should of retired with Baltimore, That would have been awesome to see Reed and Lewis in the same Hall of Fame class. This reminds me of when Emmitt Smith signed with the Cardinals and just kinda watched his playing ...

Ed should of retired with Baltimore, That would have been awesome to see Reed and Lewis in the same Hall of Fame class. This reminds me of when Emmitt Smith signed with the Cardinals and just kinda watched his playing ability diminish. If it were up to me I would of left with a Superbowl ring on my finger. It always looked ugly to me on football cards where it showed some all-time greats in there older years where they played with like 4 other teams but never put up the same numbers they did in their prime. But you never know, Reed could show some blips of his former self in New York.
