Ironically your correcting my spelling of a word you are using that is contextually incorrect. The etymology of expunge is Latin, meaning to erase. Since there is an appeal in action there is nothing to erase yet. An expungement can not happen until the appeals process is over. It has been my experience that all Seahawk fans are legal experts, you'll have to pardon my assumption that you knew the correct usage. To ex-sponge is to erase a record. Not to overturn a decision. Read the definitions you so generously provided, they state exactly what I am saying. The suspension can be overturned, or vacated. The record of him failing the drug test can be expunged. |

Maybe you should make up a police report about the Seahawks getting assaulted by the Niners? That should help you get over the Aints not making the playoffs.
Oh, liar. |

Back on point. The suspension (verb) can not be expunged. expunge | Example Sentences at Dictionary.com Mobile |

Files can be expunged that are not necessarily federal records. You have have contradicted yourself and are only making the matter worse. I don't think you understand the difference between the literal and figurative. "erased" can be figurative as to, "Erase from ones mind" and can be literal as in, "erased from ones record" which was substantiated from my dictionary precedent. Sorry chump but YOU LOSE!!! I was nice but gloves come off now.. Instead of making yourself look like a fool, you should have clarified "to which" use was I to declare the word "expunge" in the original interpretation. |
