This is a weird move. Rivera just transitioned the defense to more of a 3-4 and seemed ready to move on from Cam Newton and build around McCaffrey as a real ground and pound team.
I think he gets another shot somewhere as a head coach. I could see him bringing some much needed discipline and mental toughness to the Browns. Or, maybe the Giants with the Dave Gettleman connection. |

I was actually thinking Cowgirls...Jerruh probably isn't gonna stick with Garrett after they 1) lose in Wild Card Rd or 2) not even make playoffs. Rivera is a better fit in Dallas with the young talented D and a run centric offense. |
