Re: Is Eli HOF worthy?
No.
Eli was a mediocre QB his entire career. Jim Plunkett has 2 rings and isn't in the HoF for the same reason. Ken Andersen is the QB who belongs in there and no doubt would be if he had a ring. Andersen should've been inducted years ago. |

Re: Is Eli HOF worthy?
Ken Andersen and Joe Thiessman are more deserving of Plunkett and Eli both.
Those Raiders teams were absolutely loaded with HOFers and All Pros back in the day. They were able to dump Stabler, pick up a journey man and then make it back to the SB. The 1980 team was the original "team that got hot" in the playoffs, as their defense turned into a dominant unit forcing mad turnovers in every game. The game against Cleveland known as 'Red Right 88' was a classic. John Madden retired in Oakland with the highest win percentage in NFL history. He never had a losing season, and yet even with him retiring and being replaced by Flores, that team was stacked enough to win 2 more SBs. |

Re: Is Eli HOF worthy?
Based on his stats and career record, I'd say No.
Hard to argue with 2 Super Bowl MVPs though |

Re: Is Eli HOF worthy?
He shouldn't get in but he probably will because of those SB wins.
If there was a Hall for the very good he'd be in it right away but I don't believe he is a HOF:er. |
