Re: Dak?
Jerry isn't letting Dak get away.
Reports are Stafford is available. Would love to have him. I don't get the negative attitude towards the guy. Plays for a bottom 3 franchise and generates great stats and has a very impressive amount of 4th quarter comebacks. In fact, he has the most 4th quarter comebacks (19) and game-winning drives (22) than anyone since 2011. https://www.nfl.com/photos/mind-blow...p3000000727477 |

Stafford has had a fair few injuries in his career, if we are talking about 3-4 years ago, I'd 100% say yes. Now though, I just have a feeling those injuries will catch up with him, like they did for Calvin Johnson. |

Re: Dak?
I get the injury concern, but we have a much better OL than Detroit. I'm not saying he's must get, but at the right price, I definitely approve. Don't see it happening honestly.

Re: Dak?
If they did find a way to make the deal happen, I wouldn't complain at all. I trust him way more than Taysom or Jameis.

Re: Dak?
I'd approve in an Andy Dalton back-up kind of way but I wouldn't wouldn't want to give up or pay too much.

Re: Dak?
I have a feeling that Brees will take a while to make his decision, which would probably hold Payton in limbo.
Payton won't accept that Brees just doesn't have it anymore because of loyalty. Which means at the point that Brees does give his answer, I think the guys like Stafford, Watson, Wentz, Prescott will all be signed by people that responded quickly. |

He picked Brees off the injured scrap heap when his demand was low. I see lighting striking twice. Hell, Aron Rogers might be available in a season with Love waiting in the wings.
