I would prefer the saints to pick up Dewayne Robertson cuz that would take some pressure off our DB and young LB. Dewayne pressure would limit the time for the QB to throw the ball & with the double team I expect him to have the LB should have a better year than last year....Plus with Darren Howard & Charles Grant this team will make a BIG improvement........hey this is just my opinion so don't blast me ;) . |

Terrance Newman is a tremendous football player with killer speed. But do we need him? We have no use for his punt and kickoff return abilities. CB is not a need position, although he certainly would be an upgrade right away. A little old for a rookie.
DeWayne Robertson - the impact DT we need. Is it necessary to trade up for an impact DT? There are 5 DTs that may be able to help us: Kennedy, Joseph, Robertson, Kevin Williams, Jonathan Sullivan (in the order I rank them). If no good trade offer comes up, just sit there with #17 and #18. I don\'t see the need to actively seek a trade. If some other team wants to talk - fine. But make them look like the petitioner, not the other way around. |

If we make a trade to get into the top 5, we better not give away more than one 1st round pick- that would be stupid. I would prefer to see them trade into the late top 10 and grab Trufant, then use their second 1 st rounder to grab whatever DT is available. That\'s the thing about this draft, there are plenty of DT\'s to go around. I don\'t even think Robertson is the best DT in the draft. Kennedy is so fast for his size, it\'s scary.

B&B you got it wrong, Robertson is the one with the speed his two 40 times were 4.8 and 4.85. Kennedy\'s two times were at 5.2.

Guess I worded that incorrectly. Should have used the word \"quick\" instead of \"fast\". As in, he\'s \"quick\" with his moves and he\'s \"quick\" to put a foot in someone\'s ass.
