Saints have a surprisingly low projected 2021 win total

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I guess I just can’t agree calling a Heisman winning, number one overall pick, 5000 yard season passer who has never had a season with more INTs than TDs and beat the Saints asses as a rookie “Trash”. He has ...

Um...fair points Boston. But I wouldn't use "beat the Saint's asses as a rookie" as a point. That list is long and full of garbage QBs that the Saints defense made look like HOFers! Lol! Or use Brees and Winston in the same sentence. lol.

Damn...some of you guys act like Winston is bangin your sister and buys you candy to keep you happy!

Bahahaha!

But seriously bro, we'll all see what he brings to the table this season. If anything, pepes on both sides of the aisle here should have their crow gumbo ready to go. Because someone is gonna be wrong. And someone is gonna be right!

Add a good TE to the mix, and he cuts the int.'s in half and I'm sold. The guy has a good deep ball and can run.

Except I (and others) aren’t making any predictions at all. I’m questioning the “He sucks so don’t give him a chance” narrative that VD and others are pushing without reason. His performance so far as an NFL QB indicates otherwise. It is not possible to make a pro bowl, throw for 5 grand and 30+ TDs in a season and be a “Trash” player.

I asked 100 random female Saints fans what their favorite shampoo was. The overwhelming reply:

“Get the eff out of my shower jackwad!”

I’m not a fan of Jameis’ personality, it hits me in the wrong places, but I think he’ll be just fine as a Saints passer, if he has learned how to be a better game manager from one of the best game managers to have ever suited up, for any team.

Me? I’m excited to see what the young man can do.

Man, you are a hater, huh?

This isn't the roster of the past 3 or 4 years.
Plenty of time to add some pieces but its not like there is a big pit of money to do it with.
Exactly. I don’t think we had to play from behind in any of those games. Defense and special teams held the lead. We have lost key players to both.
Even if we had Brees when he was in his prime I think we would still struggle with our current roster.
We could get lucky in the draft, players could step up, and we could strike gold with an UDFA. Highly unlikely though.

This is true, but unfortunate we may in that 1/2 of the teams that may have to endure him starting. I will gladly admit I am wrong about being skeptical of Winston if he proves other wise. Hill or Winston, two mediocre options for the Saints. This has nothing to do with athletic ability, both have that.
