For comparisons sake, when we were in dire need of intermediate targets last season because Drew couldn’t throw past 20 yards... Trautman went 15 catches/171 yards/1 TD.

Trautman is an excellent blocker, but from what I’ve seen so far it’s absurd to think he could surpass one of the greatest pass catching TE’s in NFL history.

He had a nonexistent off-season and TE is one of the most complex offensive positions. He’s been compared to Kelce and Kittle. He has the ability to be far more aggressive than Jimmy ever was.
