this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I grew up watching Paul Orndorff on Mid-South wrestling. Not exactly a household name to some, but he had his day with the WWF with Hogan and Piper and the rest. RIP Mr. Wonderful....

That was back when wrestling wasn't quite so choreographed. I was always a big fan of Roddy Piper. I even liked him as an actor. Quite a few wrestlers made good actors. The trend continues today with the Rock and John Ceena. However, watching them wrestle nowadays just doesn't have the same appeal as the good old days.

Some of my other favs were the Hart Foundation, Lex Luger, and of course...The Road Warriors! I remember forking over about 25 bucks to my pop to pay for the cable bill to see Hawk and Animal take on the Kolovs at Summerslam! That was a lot of cash back then ! |
