Re: Hard pass on Sherman
Any tips on training a Cane Corso (Italian Mastiff). The daughter really wants a puppy but from my brief research, this dog can be a handful if not properly trained.

It's like with any (strong) dog breeds - you need to give them at least basic level obedience training, give them a clear role in your family pack and familiarize them with other dogs and people from a young age. I wouldn't worry too much about the breed itself, just make sure with the breeder that you get a puppy with the energy level you desire. |

Re: Hard pass on Sherman
Dogs are honestly very easy to train. It takes a lot of time but once you’ve invested a few months of training you’ll be happy with the outcome. I would suggest a shock collar. You won’t need it often but with a dog that big you have to show you are the alpha. I am more than willing to give you some tricks to speed up training. Just inbox me once you get it.
