Any tips on training a Cane Corso (Italian Mastiff). The daughter really wants a puppy but from my brief research, this dog can be a handful if not properly trained.

It's like with any (strong) dog breeds - you need to give them at least basic level obedience training, give them a clear role in your family pack and familiarize them with other dogs and people from a young age. I wouldn't worry too much about the breed itself, just make sure with the breeder that you get a puppy with the energy level you desire. |
