I'll give Book credit though ... he's had to make something out of nothing on every other play. If not for his scrambling ability, he's sacked 5, 6 times tonight.

I know this is only the first pre season game, but I'd take him over Trevor S.

I'd really like to see Book with the 1's. Just a shot. He's definitely looking better than where he was drafted.

That BAL Defense is gonna be legit this year, probably No. 1; so gauge how our offenses did against that unit and the substitutes accordingly...

Taysom looked great on that opening drive until Murray coughed it up; was surprised they moved the ball that well against that BAL Defense...

OL James Hurst is not the same player he was last season; that sack by Patrick Queen of Taysom Hill was all about effort, Hurst had little...

BAL backup K is legit; Wil LitAsF' Lutz is our guy and will be back mid-season, but that backup BAL K looks like he wouldn't be a liability...

Thought Adebo looked solid; as remarked on the P-Rob Tap Out thread, they all know in that DB room who's legit and who are the jabronies...

We need at least another TE on this roster; Juwan Johnson is a red zone WR, not a TE; hope Ethan Wolf can get healthy and back on track...

Alvin Kamara is gonna be awfully busy this year the way the rest of the RB room held onto the football tonight...

I'd keep an eye on DB Bryce Thompson; he showed great game awareness and good spacing; we'll have to watch to see if this continues...

QB controversy should be over. Payton needs to hitch his horse to Winston and let a one game plan approach begin. Taysom is much more valuable lined up with Winston than instead of him.

I know it isn’t the college way but I’m still of the mind that you either have one QB or none.

Each had an INT. I would say it's still inconclusive. Need another game or two to separate themselves.

I don't think Winston had the opportunity to throw with Callaway last night. Did well with less. If Southlake (Humphrey) could catch, that isn't a pick. I've never been a fan of his. At his height, he should use that body to his advantage ... same issues Brandon Coleman had.

We need another WR to help out Callaway until Mike gets back. No idea what's the injury status of 3quan Smith.
