Hill's INT was miscommunication and/or bad rout running, however Hill threw another would be INT which was a bad throw but dropped by the defender. Winston, once he settled in was easily moving the ball down the field. Hoping he gets the start next week and shows up. Other than the QBs, thought the team played well. Defense was great, O line was good in the first half. Biggest loser of the night: Devonte Freeman (needs to be cut ASAP) Biggest winner of the night: Baun (great coverage and sideline to sideline moves) |
The Saints are 0-42 when running the ball less than 15 times in a game.

Re: Saints vs. Ravens Preseason Week 1 Game Day Thread
Based on what everyone else is saying, it seems like the Saints need the help at TE so Taysom returning to a swiss army knife role seems like the natural choice. Good to get this turnover-plagued game out of the way now in the preseason.

The safety from Wisconsin I believe … Eric Burrell. I’d like to get Kris Richard’s thoughts on his play last night. Thought he performed well. A good candidate for development (practice squad).
And punter Blake Gilikan has a powerful leg. He boomed a few punts last night. |

If you're Mickey/Sean for a day, you want to spend the money on a Punter or a WRz, DT3, or a CB2? Morstead was no longer producing elite numbers, so why would you continue to commit that cap space when there's other positions needing to be addressed? |

-Adebo is the truth.
-DLINE was active and strong. -Callaway is the truth. -Baun has greatly improved. -Hill is my QB. Intangibles. Leadership. -Jones is the 3rd RB. -Backup safety play was excellent. -It's never been more important than this year. Run the dang ball. 😁 -Book is a gamer. Just appears to lack a NFL arm. -Freeman should be cut. -Turnovers and penalties have to be cleaned up. |
