That doesn't sound like you give a damn if they change their minds or not. It sounds like what you find so attractive is the punitive nature of such a policy.

Some of us have had bad experiences with #BigPharma and lazy doctors...

Despite being in phenomenal shape, my Doc decided my slightly elevated cholesterol should be addressed with Bayer's Baycol...

It took ten years for my liver to recover from it Rugs; so no, I don't trust the MoFos...

Further, I've lost three close friends to the vaccine; not C19; not some underlying health issues; they were in good general health, and got the vaccine - dead...

So I've got my reservations and skepticism; I've done reading on the matter, and have even more reservations; so does it make me a bad person?

Nope, it does not make you a bad person.

We messed up by naming it Operation Warp Speed which scared some people and I get it completely. This was not a good move.

What's up, JP? Good to see you survived the last "apocalypse."

Anyone who questions the Holy Covid is guilty of heresy, and an ignorant insurrectionist.

Man. Cant say I miss this.

I know. A lot of people still follow it.
A lot of people wear crocs.

Some of you should wipe your feet.

I heard there was a preseason game last night.
I dont know who won.

My question to you is did you read this? The 4th from sciencemag in particular. I like what it said about an indoor environment. And you still say wearing a mask helps? Maybe we need to all wear the hazmat suits like your article says is the ONLY way it could be contained. Pretty good article. The others said little to nothing other than about multi layer mask( which are basically ineffective) and do not much better than a single(pretty little mask) at containing the spread of anything. Maybe we should wrap our heads with bubble wrap so we can't breath instead of breathing without these mask and let it run it couse like it is going to do anyway. MASKS DON"T HELP DUDE, face it. They do little to nothing against the spread of this. YOUR articles even prove it.

Only 13 people requested refunds last I heard. Losing future rights scared them off probably.

I hear you and you are probably correct.

I mean every study from every credible medical organization in America says differently (the same doctors we all trust to do heart surgery, brain surgery, etc.) but we somehow come to a different conclusion.

I don't think he read the studies because I intentionally posted a study from Science that was the same study on a pubmed link I posted. But, he never noticed and it appears he thought that since the study was in Science it was somehow suspect. The conclusion of the study: face masks were found to effectively limit probability of COVID-19 transmission.

I could post dozens more but you are right, it is probably pointless.

Agreed. “These people”.... “Every credible study”... The arrogant language used by some to demonize their opponents is chilling. It is used by people that won’t engage in dialogue under the guise of doing what is best for the public good. It’s narcissistic control. Forcing a mask on children and comparing doing so with a haircut while ridiculing people that have the audacity to question the need is right in line with, and only a few steps away from, forcing a female to wear a burka or slapping a star on striped pajama wearing person and sending them away on railroad cars. When a person questions the need for personal freedoms they are lost.

29.5 times greater for those vaccinated than those unvaccinated. Just saying.

There is more to it than just the death rate. It can do serious damage to your lungs and the brain fog may never go away. I don't want anyone to suffer through Covid. I had Covid long haulers for seven months and I was miserable the whole time. I still have problems related to Covid. People who think it's like the cold or flu can be dead wrong.

Doesn't matter who they agree or disagree with. Others are not their concern. It's all about the individual ... or so I've been told.

“all about the individual”. Don’t remember this. Never heard anyone here advocating that. Just in your twisted mind would you confuse respecting individual freedoms with saying they are the only thing that matters.

Oh, I'm not suggesting that it can't be serious for some people. What I am saying is that based on the survival rate, an ominous and definitive statement such as "get your final affairs in order" is not warranted. For a lot of people having Covid will be no worse than having a cold and far less severe than the flu.

One can take it seriously and yet not pretend that having Covid is a near certain death sentence. I think part of the reason people are reluctant to take the virus is because there has not been an honest public discussion of this virus.

It seems pretty public to me. We have close friends that are in the hospitals dealing with this on a daily basis. They are doing their best to educate people on what is going on, but are being ignored, being called liars and such by those with some other agenda. That agenda most commonly appears to be "Don't Tread On Me" and be damned with those that don't agree.

It isn't the death rate that is staggering. It is the hospitalization rate that is reaching and exceeding pandemic highs. People that need immediate non-COVID related hospital care cannot find rooms because they are all filled by primarily unvaccinated COVID patients. Thankfully the death rate isn't higher as you pointed out, but the damage being done is still catastrophic to them, their families, and to others. They are confined to rooms for weeks at a time. And now it's the kids!

Yeah, it's been plenty public - the problem has been the dishonesty. And the hypocrisy. And the coerciveness.

We have the political elite shutting down people's businesses and then turning around and breaking the very rules they think they can impose on citizens.
You have Fauci pointing his fingers at bikers for having their annual event while not daring to breathe a word about Obama and his birthday bash. You have people like Stretchin Gretchen telling people that they can't travel within the state and then showing up on Florida with her family. Medical doctors sign on to a letter saying mass protests are okay if they are done in the name of George Floyd while people protesting lockdowns are considered an existential threat.

I may not agree on all issues with the "don't tread on me" people you look down on, but their instinct to protect individual liberties is certainly not something that should be looked down on.

Oh, and try to show a little gratitude for those liberties. They should not be taken for granted.

Individual liberties are fine, as long as individuals don't use them in the manner that they see fit.

These people you are criticizing see the government telling its citizens they have to have vaccine passports, while at the same time they are allowing a flood of illegal immigrants come into our country with not only Covid but all kinds of infectious diseases.

They see the White House openly admit that the federal government is directing big tech to censor speech it disagrees with.

You can't blame people for being skeptical.
