The guy broke records not even 2 years ago. You "grumpy old men" type seem to forget this. And I'm 45. He has definitely left a statement in his playing so far. Politics and sports have to meet when players demonstrate during the national anthem. It is the players that invite it. Not grumpy old men.

BTW.....I don't wear a mask. I'm vaccinated. It was never anything politically driven for me. I had my doubts and fears about the vaccine. My BIL and his father are both MDs, and they are both Republicans. I have 5 cousins and 2 other family members who are RNs. I know nearly 2 dozen people from high school and college who are nurses who I'm friends with on social media. I find it interesting that not a single one of them do not endorse the vaccine. Natural selection is occurring right in front of all of us. I can't convince anyone of anything, but it's time for folks to stop being stubborn and void of logic and reason. Everyone I know who opposes all of this is politically driven. I'm glad I'm not stupid.

I have a friend who is an Army Ranger. He says that patriotism is defined by what you do for your fellow countrymen. I wish some of you would stop with the national anthem nonsense. You do nothing but prove my point.
