Ashame. He was balling all preseason and he had a major impact in the game. Losing him and possibly Lattimore for a stretch is going to hurt. This has been the toughest offseason/start of season I can remember. If we manage to make the post season Payton should get Coach of the Year hands down.

Looks like it's just a strain as per Rapoport..
Great news.. will still miss time but back sooner rather than later..

Thats literally what happens everytime.

He gets injured, misses about 4-5 games, then takes another 3 or 4 to get back to playing how he was, then the seasons almost over.

The guy isn't unlucky, he's injury prone. He was a reach, that will never live up to the price paid for him.

Then accept sunk price and move on. To be honest, the majority of drafted players never become reliable starters or have any impact. Maybe later this year or in the future he helps us with our other Lombardi's. There should always be hope.
