We have two more games coming up the Giants & Washington these are good teams for us to get the Offense worked out.
After that comes the Seahawks and Bucs which both will be tough games.
Still can't figure out how we took apart the Pack, guess we caught them snoozing.

I love how this defense imposes their will on offenses. Kinda gives me a woody, been wanting a good defense for years. Now, we got an elite defense and when the offense gets on track. We are gonna roll

And we're doing it with a bunch of nobodies on the D-line. Sweet! :p

Truth. So is their success based on Scheme, Technique, Chemistry, or Instinct/Football IQ?

I think we’ve scouted really well at that position over the last several years.

Yes.

Watching live I was actually pleased with Winston’s play. It was a packed, loud stadium. Once they got a 2 score lead you could tell he was determined not to force a bad throw and turn the ball over. He’s got a 3.5 to 1 TD to Int ratio so far. That’s not bad at all. Game number 2 Carolina was ready and stuffed the O line and held Kamara in check (let’s not forget the travel/Ida/COVID Coach issues that week). They finally get a true home game against a struggling Giants team with a chance to go 3-1 with healthy players hopefully returning soon.

• Come for Jameis Winston. Stay for DeMario Davis.
All kidding aside, I thought it was interesting to hear Davis, the Saints’ defensive captain, reference the plight of New Orleans in his pregame speech. So I asked him about it postgame. “It was just to the team—we have to understand our position. This team is the lifeblood of the city and no matter what’s going on, whether it’s good times or bad times or right now it’s adversity going on in our city, when we play well, it gives the people in the city as a whole hope,” Davis said. “It’s always better as a team when you’re playing for something that’s bigger than yourself, and we get the opportunity to do that every time we step on the field. And it’s a unique opportunity and a unique position to be in. And I just wanted to challenge everybody with that, to understand that, it’s a lot more going on out here than just ourselves and individual performances. We’re playing for something much bigger, and so we just wanted to own that.” I’d say they gave people back in New Orleans something to feel good about, and right before they were set to return to Louisiana for the first time in a month.

DeMario Davis could get me to run through a wall for him. He's easily my favorite current Saints player.

Best pick up since Brees.

I think we can thank Jeff Ireland for the fantastic job he does in college scouting. We’ve been hitting on multiple draft picks for a while. Before him we were very hit or miss
