One championship in over a decade and a half. A championship that the defense deserves way more of the credit(Tracy Porter). Should’ve accomplished more. Sorry in advance for my not so popular opinion. Porter deserves a statue.

The way the Saints wasted Brees is criminal; the Saints should have at least 4 more SP appearances, if not wins; I wonder how many times that has crossed his mind.

Out of all of the Saints playoff loses in the Payton-era, I can't think of any that were because of the offense.

That's why I keep saying to lay it all on SP. And he needed to know the rule book like BB. The latter point would've given us two SB berths right there.

Whilst I agree that Brees' prime years were wasted with bad defenses, I think there are a few playoff losses that fall on the offense. However I think it's all predicated on how you look at things.

In my opinion, the 2013 hawks loss and the 2020 Bucs ones definitely fall on the offense. 2013 Hawks I'm not too mad about as they had the number 1 D, we were away from home and they were the eventual SB champs.

2020 bucs one whilst they were also SB champs, the Offense put the D in some really bad spots and 3 or 4 turnovers on offense, you're never going to win a playoff game like that. Salt in the wound was that we demolished them twice and then looked scared at home in the playoffs against their D.

2011 vs 49ers is a tough one, I do blame the offense for turning the ball over 4 times, but then I blame GW and the D for blowing a miraculous comeback, one that may not have been needed, had the offense not turned the ball over so much.

Probably my main point, we never seem to get a full team effort in the playoffs. When one unit does well, the other falters.

I was re-watching the game last night and Winston was definitely limping a little early on in the game.

I agree with all of Dat.
I’m not gonna mention Brady, Rodgers or PManning. How many SB’s would Stafford, R Wilson, Ryan or even Eli have if they played in this Saints offense during their careers. I say 2 minimum.
